Job Description

Welcome to the Team

\n

\n

At Nexans, we are powering the future through electrification, energy transition, and the rapid expansion of digital infrastructure. Data Centers—particularly Hyperscalers, Colocation providers, and AI-driven campuses—are a core growth pillar for Nexans, driven by accelerating cloud adoption, AI workloads, and rising power density requirements.

\n

To support this ambition, we are strengthening our Business Development organisation in North America and expanding our engagement with the largest Data Center operators and ecosystem partners. We are now hiring a Global Key Account Manager – Hyperscalers, Colocation & AI to lead Nexans’ strategic customer development across the United States.

\n

This is a high-impact role for a senior commercial leader who thrives in complex, global matrix environments and wants to shape Nexans’ growth in hyperscale, colo, and AI infrastructure.

\n

\n

Getting a Flying Start

\n

\n

As Global Key Account Manager – Hyperscalers, Colocation & AI, you will own and grow Nexans’ most strategic Data Center accounts in the United States, with global alignment. You will lead large, multi-site, long-cycle opportunities, build executive relationships with hyperscalers and colocation providers, and orchestrate Nexans’ internal teams to convert complex programs into scalable, profitable growth.

\n

You will act as the commercial quarterback for your accounts—defining global account strategies, securing specification and preferred-supplier status, leading complex negotiations, and positioning Nexans as a trusted partner for high-density AI, cloud, and mission-critical power infrastructure.

\n

\n

How You Make an Impact

\n

\n
    \n
  • Own and develop strategic Hyperscaler, Colocation, and AI Data Center accounts, building multi-year global account strategies and growth plans.
  • \n
  • Secure specification and preferred-partner positioning with end customers, EPCs, engineering firms, and system integrators.
  • \n
  • Lead complex, high-value opportunities end-to-end, coordinating Engineering, Product, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • \n
  • Build trusted C-level relationships across customers and ecosystem partners, acting as Nexans’ single point of accountability for assigned accounts.
  • \n
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through a robust pipeline while protecting margins and managing commercial risk.
  • \n
  • Bring market intelligence back into Nexans, influencing product roadmaps, reference architectures, and Data Center sales plays through structured customer feedback.
  • \n
\n

\n

Your Starting Points

\n

\n
    \n
  • 10–15+ years’ experience in B2B key account management or business development within Data Centers, digital infrastructure, electrification, or critical infrastructure.
  • \n
  • Proven success managing Hyperscale and/or Colocation customers in complex, multi-site, long-cycle sales environments.
  • \n
  • Strong experience working with EPCs, system integrators, and ecosystem partners.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders in global, matrix organizations.
  • \n
  • Solid knowledge of the US Data Center ecosystem (hyperscalers, colo providers, EPCs, utilities); international exposure is a strong plus.
  • \n
  • High commercial acumen with executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • \n
\n

\n

Our Growth Culture

\n

\n

At Nexans, our growth culture is built on trust, collaboration, and accountability. We believe in giving our people autonomy to make an impact, while fostering strong teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a can-do mindset across global teams.

\n

We value the differences that make each employee unique. Diversity of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives, gender, and abilities is essential to our ambition to lead the energy transition toward a more sustainable future. Bring yours to Nexans — it is welcome.
